Hello everyone,

I am using ANSYS fluent to simulate a flood case running on stairs, my flow is transient flow and I am applying the VOF method, and applying k- Ɛ for the viscous model.

I am confused about the governing equation that is applied here, is it Navier-Stokes equations solved by Direct Numerical Simulation(DNS) ? or Reynolds Average Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations?
