Hello everyone, I want to develop a script in mechanical where the line bodies of about 110 in number will be imported from geometry. These bodies have to sort based on their location to respective named selection. then I have to apply line pressure on these named selection.
I have created edge based named selections but dont know how to sort the edges based on location and application of load. Kindly guide

Hi
Can you explain what you want to do and why ?
Also you said "to sort based on their location to respective named selection"?
So in each named selection it will include one or multiple beams depending on what (the position say centroid)?
Try to write a pseudo code on what you want to do and then you can find which commands to use.
