  i drew an 3d line diagram in solidworks is there any way i can convert into fe model with bar element in mechanical apdl

  Hi Yes, you should be able to do that. Look in the help here on how you can bring in Solid Works files. Also, check out the tutorial specified in this discussion.

  Define a 3D truss element (LINK180), define section area (real constants), material properties, mesh the lines, apply restraints, and loads, define the type of analysis and solve. Many tutorials on the internet on how to model truss structure.
  
  Be aware: for every member/line segment use only one truss element (if you use many it becomes a chain which is unstable). So one truss element per member.
