Hi all,
Â
How would you model the cross section shown below in ansys?
Â
I currently use a user defined cross section but this seems to be increasing the computation time a lot in explicit dynamics (note: I have about 18 of this element). Also, I am unable to model as shell elements (I get an error in meshing when I try this) so currently have them as solid elements.

Hi
You can model the above shared corss section in SpaceClaim or Discovery. Can you share the snap of Meshing error you are getting.Â
