Excessive distortion in material plasticity

      I am analyzing cold formed steel built up I beam made up of two C-section lipped beam joined beam element. I am facing convergence issue due to excessive distortion of some element. I have defined multilinear isotropic hardening upto sufficient range.

      Try changing the Behavoir of the Remote Displacement from Deformable to Rigid.
