I am trying to perform a finite element method (FEM) simulation of von Mises stress for a rotor of a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) in Ansys Mechanical. I have completed the static structural setup, but I am encountering the following error:
"Not enough constraints appear to be applied to prevent rigid body motion. This may lead to solution warnings or errors. Check results carefully." I also deleted the automatic connection, inserted the connection group as a joint, and then created a new automatic connection. However, the error did not go away.
I have attached some pictures of my setup details for your reference. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Attached Link

The error indicates that there is rigid body motion experienced by a part. You can perform a modal analysis to see which part is experiencing rigid body motion. Also, please check the following Ansys Innovation Course, which might be useful:
