Element type used: CPT217
Query: I require fluid velocity as output. I could find the output variable called FLOW in the manual. Can anyone please clarify whether FLOW is flow velocity or not?
If not FLOW, should i be using output variable which is related to surface, FFLX (fluid flux) to find the flow velocity indirectly?

Hi,
Please see if the following links help:Â
What is the unit of the fluid flow flux given when using CPT217? (ansys.com)
What unit to use in APDL for permeability PERM command (m^4/Ns) or (m/s) (ansys.com)
