Conjugate Heat Transfer with Moving Body

      Hello friends,

I wanted to simulate a conjugate heat transfer problem using Ansys fluent. I wanted to give a translational motion of an object after 10s of the simulation run. I would really appreciate it if anyone could let me know how to define a cell motion so that it can start moving after 10 of running the simulation.

      Thanks!!

You can use Solution Steering to trigger motion at a set time, or use a profile/Expression for the motion.

Rob, Thank you so much for your reply. Would you please tell me how to use "Solution Steering to trigger motion at a set time"?. I don't see any option in my ansys fluent. I am using ANSYS FLUENT 2022 R2.

      Thank you so much!

It's under Calculation Activities, you need to set the motion speed via the TUI command and use the below to trigger at the desired time.
