SubscriberI work in machine tool design. I would like to do ANSYS analysis of the transient response of a structure due to acceleration/deceleration changes of a high-speed conveyor driven by a ball screw, but I do not know what steps to take. There is a similar paper, but it does not provide detailed methods. So could you please provide similar guidelines? For example, could I give velocity or acceleration profile data as input to a ball screw and see the response of different points in the structure as output? Any help from you would be greatly appreciated. I am using ansys worebench 2017.

SubscriberPlease reply with images of your structure. What does the conveyor look like? There is a carriage on the ball screw. Show how the carriage connects to the conveyor. What is the mass of the conveyor?Â

SubscriberMachine tools like as above picture in other thesis
the name of thesis is following as:
Finite element analysis for dynamic behavior of a machine tool structure fed in open loop control.
Anyway I would like to design the structure frame in high acceleration and deceleration condition drived in ballscrew.
