SubscriberDear,Â
While using the buil-in compiler in Fluent 2023R1 I get the following error. Moreover, if I am using the Visual studio 2019 compilers, in my laptop is compiled succesfully while when using the VS 2019 from a desktop (VS exactly the same settings as in laptop) I get the LNK1104 error. Can you help?
Thank you in advance!

Forum ModeratorRegarding the built-in compiler, you would need to work with your IT to determine if they can remove the restriction.

For the LNK1104 error, thereÂ
This error will occur when there is a LIB environment variable present that is pointing to an outdated location for kernel32.lib or if there is no LIB variable pointing to a newer kernel32.lib file.
The 'kernel32.lib' is a Windows library and could be found in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Lib\10.0.18362.0\um\x64.
Following steps must be done:
1.check if the kernel32.lib could be found with this path on the specific machine
2.create a Windows System Variable named LIB with the value C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Lib\10.0.18362.0\um\x64 .
