Subscriber Hello, I have a problem here on my Ansys 19.2. The allowable cores for our license should be 16. However, I can only use up to 4 cores on my computer. Once I change the setting to more than 4 cores, it does not compute and gives an error. Also, if I enable the GPU, it doesn't compute no matter how many cores I want to use. Does anyone have suggestions?
Thank you.

Ansys EmployeeHi David,
It sounds like you are using a non-academic license.
Please open up CMD Prompt then change directory to
ANSYS IncShared FilesLicensingwinx64
then issue this command
ansysli_util -checkout ANS_SOLVER
and post the screenshot of the output here.
Also, open Client ANSLIC_ADMIN Utility 19.2 > View Status/Diagnostics > Display the License Status >Â post the output here.
Thank you,
Win
