Hi,
Is there any tutorial that can lead me to PCB parasitic analysis using Ansys Q3D?

In Ansys Q3D, you can perform PCB parasitic analysis by following these steps:
1. Create/Import the 3D ECAD model of the PCB.
2. Assign boundary conditions
3. Assign signal nets: A net is a collection of touching conductor materials or surfaces. You can assign nets manually or automatically to any conductor ends and classify them as signal, floating, or ground nets.
4. Assign source and sinks on the nets for which the RLGCs are required to be extracted.
5. Setup solutions: Q3D offers three types of solution setups–capacitance, conductance, DC resistance and inductance, and AC resistance and inductance. You can generate RLCG field plots and corresponding E or H field plots.
6. Results: After the simulation model is solved, you can perform post-processing of the obtained results, view the solution data in rectangular tabular format, or plot the resultsTo know more on simulations using Q3D, you may visit:

Thanks for your reply. The challenge I am facing is assigning boundaries. I have successfully assigned the PCB ECAD file to Q3D. But it is not letting me to assign boundary. I am not understanding how to select the boundary. It asks me to select a face before assigning the boundary but it is no letting me assign the boundary event if I select a top or bottom of the PCB.
