SubscriberWhen trying to model the particle using surface combustion law with three species on the surface. Some particles are getting evaporated, even when there is no volatile component in particle. The temperature is 1850 K inside the computational domain . The temperature with which particles entering is 350K. Can any one let me know what are the reason for the evaporation and how to prevent that to happen

What is the particle type choosen in the DPM injection settings. If you have choosen droplet, combusting etc, there is an option under material property to specify the vaporization temperature, boiling point etc. The praticles might be evaporating based on this condition. You can make use of inert particle type if this condition matches your requirement.

SubscriberI have given combustion type with zero volatile fraction and I have also increased the latent heat to 1e18 and vaporization temp to 4000K. I need to model multiple surface reactions on particle so I have selected combustion type particle
