 Hi when i try to add a beam from Eurocode map then i cant get it to work with a rectangle:

But when i use a simple line it works. 

Im wondering if im doing anything wrong. The reason i ask is because when i do this in SpaceClaim then it works, so might be an error in Modeling?

*I am using SpaceClaim 2022 R2

I found out that if i choose the sketch and press "retain sketch" then it wont make it into a surface so that i can add beams, but seems like a bug to me that when you draw a rectangle and go into 3d then it just turns into a surface?

When I used the same process it did work and did not come across the issue you are mentioning. Please refer to the video attached.
