Solve undercut problem

I have a model with existing undercut in direction Y

Is it possible to use SpaceClaim to get rid of the undercut

Does SpaceClaim have a feature to detect and remove undercut in a given direction?

This is the model i am trying to edit:

What i am trying to achieve would look something like this

but obviously this is just a simplified model (with no curve in it):

      Hi lstamm

Currently there is no feature to automatically detect and remove undercut in a given direction.

You generally need to edit it with some sort of geometry operation like pull, sweep, blend.

SpaceClaim has a function where you can sweep a 3D object but the result is facets. I think if we swept it straight down, it would work....the result would be faceted, and you could try to skin it but that doesn't always work.

It is not working in 2022 R2 release and we have filed a bug with the development team for this. Although it is working in 2021 R2 version. You might try this and see if that helps.

In the image attach you can see there are no more undercuts but its faceted.

      Regards.
