I am using ANSYS 2023 R1 and running a simulation based on an experiment. The input for velocity and turbulence intensity is based on a power law profile. I can enter the velocity as an expression, but when I try to do the same for turbulent intensity, I get an error that says ‘expression is not single-valued.’ I have also tried to input this expression as a new parameter, but it still gives the same error. Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Hello,
Try using abs(y) instead of only y in the expression.

Hello,
You are getting this error because the present expression needs to evaluate to a single valued constant. If it is not a constant you will get the error you are seeing.Â

Hi,
I'm inputting the turbulent intensity as an expression because it varies with height. If I were to use a single valued constant, the turbulent intensity would not change with height, which means I wouldn't need to use an expression. -
