Hello all, I would like to couple Rocky and Mechanical. I have managed to load Rocky output into Mechanical. However, I would like to load the Mechanical result (deformation due load) again into Rocky and calculate further.
I would like to create a two-way coupling. Is this possible?Â

Hello Dayana,
In Ansys Workbench, you can drag & drop systems over one another so to share and transfer results from one system to another.
Rocky is fully integrated with Ansys Workbench, meaning that you can perform various coupled analyses with other physics such as structures and fluids, depending on the nature of the problem that needs to be solved without the need of using external software.
In the picture below, you can see an example of a workflow of coupled analyses with Rocky.
You can find examples of coupled analyses with Rocky on Youtube.
Hope that helps,
Tasos

Hello,
thank you very much.
I see that I need to create a parameter set for my Geometry, Rocky and Mechanical to run my model over few time steps. This part was missing in my Workbench flow. I will try it out like this.
Best regards
Dayana

Hello Dayana,
The picture that I showed in my previous answer was just an example.
You don't have to use parameters if it's not necessary in your model.
All the best,
Tasos
