SubscriberSo wenever i try to simulate anything in fluid flow my laptop freezes after i click in "Evaluate Results". i've the latest graphic card drivers instaled and got the same problem in Ansys 18.2 and 19.0.
This problem only appens in Fluid Flow, don't know why.
My laptop has an I7 and a gtx 1060, everytime i open AIM i select "High Performance NVIDIA Processor" to use the gtx 1060.

SubscriberANSYS tests their software to work well on a short list of graphics cards. If you have one of them, graphics issues will be rare. Unfortunately, they are the professional Quadro cards, which cost a lot more than the GeForce gaming cards, even though they use the same nVIDIA chips. It's all about the drivers and what the driver was tested to work with properly. The Quadro drivers are tested with CAD and CAE programs. The GeForce drivers are tested with games.
