a question about porous

  A chamber connecting some tubes with a inlet on one side,how is possible the fluid share a same velocity in everytube when adding the porous?it is wild

  If you check the mass flow on each channel are they the same? If you plot static pressure on the same plane I suspect it'll help you understand.

    The value of velocity and other parameters should relatived to the position. i checked the mass flow and static pressure , and they are the same. it confused me

  Why would velocity vary with position? With a manifold & porous resistance in each channel why are you not expecting the above?
