SubscriberHi,
I have a question which may be quite noobish, but I didn´t find an answer to my problem yet.
I am working on a multiphase VOF model with Fluent.
For the result visualisation, I use a contour which shows the two different phases. From this contour, a solution animation is generated.
Most of the times, the contour looks like this:
Â
Â
Thats the way I like it.
Â
But sometimes, the contour looks like this:
Â
And I have no idea why. I have tried any option in the contour settings, I just cant change the contour to look like the one above if this kind of contour occures.
It seems to be quite random and unpredictable. In one simulation, the contour looked like this for only a few timesteps, and then changed to the filled version like the picture above. At this moment, I run a simulation and it looks like this the whole time.
I just dont get it. Can someone help me with this?
Thanks in advance!

SubscriberI apologize in advance if you've tried this and it still doesn't work the way you want it to
. Did you make sure none of the surfaces were selected while displaying the contour?

SubscriberHi Rahul,
no need to apologize, you have solved my problem!
Now I am a little bit embarassed because I didn´t try deselecting the surfaces. I just didn´t suspect the root of the problem there.
Well lessons learned for me: When you think you have tried everything, think again!
Thank you very much!
