Hi, in the model I meshed below, I got an error reading that (The normal of contact element 7869 is not consistent with the normal of contact element 7888 in real set 39. Please use the ENORM command to correct it.). I have checked some results in the forum, while haven't solved it. I have checked the normals of my connections, the contact face did show an abnormal mesh normal which is different from others with arrow down. The contact here is simple with just a plane (solid) and a ball (shell). The mesh I used for the contact is MultiZone shown below. The whole mesh didn't see any error, while the solving can't proceed.
I have checked some resources, e.g. ENORM the element below. while it gives me that (Element number 0 is not defined as part of the current model.) Can someone help me with this error? Thanks a lot.

Hi Akshay,
Thanks for your sharing. I have solved this similarly to the solutions mentioned in your provided link. I added a Contact Sizing mesh to the failing contact, the mesh was refined and the normal are all the same now.Â
A follow-up question is, how to use ANORM in APDL?Â
Thanks a again.
