SubscriberDear Community ,Â
Â
I trying to solve a problem where i know the mass flow and pressure at the inlet of my system for a compressible flow.
However, both conditions cannot be done simultaneously by Fluent. How would you advise me to do ?
I tried already by using a UDScalar or a DEFINE_PROFILE conditions but without any changes.

Many thanks,Â

SubscriberHello,
you can only use 1 boundary condition at the inlet, to capture both pressure and mass flow rate you need to have information at the outlet pressure. By selecting the right outlet pressure value you would guarantee to approximately  have the anticipated inlet pressure at the selected mass flow subject to head losses in the fluid domain.
