      Hi all. There is such a plate:

      How to create a uniform grid on it with a choice of the number of elements in thickness? As here:

      In Mechanical, you can use Sweep method with algorithm set to axisymmetric. 

      For the thickness, add a split of the face and specify the number of elements you want using edge sizing

      Example: add a new edge as shown and specify edge sizing

        Thanks but I'm trying to do it in LS-prepost. Can you please tell me how to do it there? So that the body does not lose its internal volume.
