SubscriberSIR I want to change the VELOCITY INLET of a fluid in a pipe FROM 1 m/s TO 2 m/s (from 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3,1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9. 2.0 m/s.). FOR EACH VALUE OF INLET VELOCITY, CALCULATION TO BE DONE Please guide me to write USER DEFINED FUNCTION in FLUENT to achieve this. thanks Mogan

SubscriberIn addition to what Vishal has posted, if you're still interested in adding a udf, you can have a look at this tutorial:

SubscriberHello there,
I have an issue similar to this. What I need is how can i write a UDF program so that all the variable parameters are addressed in one program i.e calculate pressure1-pressure2 ( 2 points are created in the pipe as p1 and p2) with varing inlet velocity for regular interval of time say for first 100 sec velocity is v1 next 100 sec velocity is v2 and so on for 2000sec.Once done need to import all these value to an excel file Having column name as 1.Time 2.Inlet velocity of fluid 3.P1-P2
any comments or data materials will help..
Thanks.
