Mechanical Scripting – Accessing nodes associated with named selections

  Hello,
  
  Using mechanical scripting in python, how can I access the nodes associated with a named selection?
  For instance, if I had a named selection called ns that's geometry is 2 edges how do I get mechanical scripting to access the nodes and the associated data on those edges?
