This CFD ANSYS tutorial demonstrates how to use the dynamic mesh method and the 6DOF tool in Fluent to simulate the rotation of any turbine including wind turbines due to external flow. In this simulation, the turbine will rotate due to air flow being injected at its vanes. Unlike the sliding mesh method, the rotation of the turbine is induced by the external flow. -
