When I create a periodic mesh interface, why does Fluent display it on the TUI below the message?Â

"Note: zone-surface: cannot create surface from sliding interface zone. Creating empty surface."
When you create mesh interfaces, Fluent automatically generates virtual/empty wall faces to keep track of the fluxes on these interfaces, so that they can be matched. These virtual faces cannot be displayed and do not actually contain any facets, hence Fluent throws this message. This message can be safely ignored, as you can still display the original interface surfaces.
