Import DICOM volume ?

  Hello,
  
  does any one know how to convert DICOM medical image files into a volume that can be imported as a geometry in ANSYS ?
  
  I know 3DSlicer can be used to convert into .stl and open .stl in ANSYS, but I've heard that the geometry's quality is very poor.
  
  Any help would be appreciated
