SubscriberHi,
I'm trying to do an analysis on a 3D CAD model of a rocket, but are encountering issues when it comes to meshing. I created the CAD model using Fusion 360 and exported it into an IGES file. Then imported it into Ansys Spaceclaim to prep the model for CFD. After creating the fluid volume and creating named selections for the rocket surface, inlet, outlet and wall, I then pushed the model to fluent mesher. However, when trying to generate the surface mesh, the following error comes up: "zone no longer exists. Redisplay graphics window". This error occurs for all components that are named selections in the model.
Suspecting that it was an issue with the geometry (as there are some small faces on the model), I attempted to mesh just the body tube (which is just a cylinder) but had the same error occurs.
I've included some photos below.
Any recommendations, fixes or help would be most appreciated.

Ansys EmployeePlease check geometry in SpaceClaim.
Select geometry in structure tree --> Use right click --> Select Check Geometry. (Or Tools - Fault Detection in DM)
The geometry should be error free to proceed.
If geometry has any errors, please modify/recreate geometry at those places. Please check sizing you have used in Fluent Meshing.
