I am having issues interpreting the rainflow histogram matrix and can't find any meaningful example in the documentation that tries to describe it. Please can anyone help me. See attached below.

To learn about Rainflow fatigue cycle counting, look at these references:

This standard, ASTM E 1049-85, section 5.4.4, Rainflow Counting. The results of this method for an example are shown in Figure 6 of the ASTM document.  Do you have more questions?

The rainflow histogram below is from ANSYS Mechanical. A bit different from the one above where i used codes from Eurocode 3 to plot in matlab.

The only question i have is whether there's available 3D rainflow histogram type.
