      Hello everyone,

in my installation tree of ANSYS 2021R1 I have already installed "LS-dyna" as in screen shot:

but I couldn't find the "workbench LS-dyna" in my workbench enviroment as in screen shot:

can you tell me how can I add the "Workbench LS-dyna" into workbench enviroment?

      regards!

      Hi Tianxiao,

Are you using the free student version of Ansys Workbench?

      Hi Armin,

we use the license from the university (TU Cottbus, Germany). I think It should differ from the free student version.

      regards

      Thanks Tianxiao.

I can see from your screen-shot that LS-Run is available that can be used to run LS-DYNA input files (after the model is created in LS-PrePost or elsewhere). But from my understanding, Workbench LS-DYNA is not included in the free student version.

      Hi Armin,

this is the license that we have in our campus, could you please have a look, if the Workbench LS-DYNA is included?

      thanks

      Hi Tianxiao,

I'm not familiar with details of licensing but if you post your question under "installation and licensing" (link below) someone should be able to assist you:
