SubscriberHello, I'm a student from China, I'm doing research on the changes of the impact force and solid stress when the droplet hits the wall, I use a one-way fluid-structure coupling in the system coupling to solve my problem,
My model is as follows:
in fluent, I used VOF model and adapt mesh:
I want to transfer the impact force of the bottom surface to the transient structure, and I also inquired about the surface force calculation and force transmission principle in fluent in the help document, and they do not look different
but in my calculations, they show a huge gap:
All the settings about the force transmission are default. You can see that at the 375th time step, the monitoring of the surface force in fluent is 0.059N, but the force obtained by the transient structure in system coupling is 0.078N,
What is the reason for this?

Ansys EmployeeHi,
Whether force data transfer is converged? Here are some best practices to evaluate the convergence and the accuracy of data transfersEvaluating Convergence and Data Transfer Accuracy (ansys.com) and Evaluating Convergence of Data Transfers (ansys.com).
