AnsysWBU.exe error – 2023 R1

Hi, whenever I try to open my model an error appears: "AnsysWBU.exe encountered a problem. A diagnostic file has been written". I have tried multiple things that I've seen in other forums:

      - Renaming the Ansys folder in %temp% and %appdata%

      - Deleting and reinstalling Ansys

      - Downloading an older version of Ansys

      - Adding the system environment variable ANS_OLD_ATTACH = 1

      - Updating my drivers (I have NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3060 and I use game ready driver, not sure if this affects Ansys)

      - Opening CMD as admin and typing:

      regsvr32.exe ole32.dll
      regsvr32.exe atl.dll
      regsvr32.exe oleaut32.dll
      regsvr32.exe scrrun.dll
      regsvr32.exe jscript.dll
      regsvr32.exe vbscript.dll

      - Installing prereq and configuring products

      - Turning off firewall

But none of them have fixed my error. Can anyone help?

      Hi Anna,

Please try launching the workbench as an admin.

Hi! I'm having the same issue, did you solve it?

Everytime I open my simulation, change something and run it again, the mechanical crashes showing the same error message. So I have to start a new simulation from the beginning.

Equally important is the quality Snow Rider 3D of the work produced. Originality alone does not guarantee a lasting impact; it is the meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail that elevate a creation from merely interesting to truly exceptional.
