View the surface mesh on a specific Named Selection?

      n the Meshing tool bar, click on 'Annotation Preferences’; turn on the checkbox "Plot Elements Attached to Named Selections". Click OK. Now you would be able to view the surface mesh (if the underlying entity is meshed) once you select the Named Selection in the Outline panel.
