Ansys EmployeeWith hyperelastic materials, lower order hex elements are optimal, in terms of robustness and accuracy, but not always practical. It can be helpful to drop midside nodes and let the code invoke enhanced strain technology when bending is excessive. Higher order elements can be more susceptible to turning inside out under excessive bending.
