SubscriberHello everyone,
I want to ask how can i generate lines, surfaces and points on solid to use boundary conditions or force or pressure?
Thank you so much! Have a great day!

SubscriberOpen the solid body in SpaceClaim. If the face of the solid is planar, you can sketch directly on that face. If the face has curvature, you can snap a plane to that face. Sketch on the plane and return to 3D. Use the Project tool to project the curves onto the face.

SubscriberThank you i will try it and let you know. I want to ask how can i generate points on line bodies? Are we going to use the same method?

SubscriberSuppose you have a line body and want to have two points at specific locations, such as where the profile (cross-section) changes near each end from the more slender middle to the thicker ends. In SpaceClaim, create a plane normal to the line at each end. Use the Move tool to slide the plane a specific distance. Use the Split Body tool to cut the line into three pieces. On the Workbench tab, use the Share button to ensure that the mesh will connect the three pieces back into a single structure that can have different profiles.
