SubscriberHi, Our client has a temp discovery ultimate enterprise licence and has managed to install the software, licence and the CAD translators package without problems. But when trying to import CATIA files or create new geometry within AIM they get this error.
After selecting 'ok' they get
Â
Â
They are able to do both in Spaceclaim as normal.
They have now tried it on two machines with the same end result and this is the first ANSYS product they have installed.
Â
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Â
Alex

Ansys EmployeeHello Alex I noticed an instance where reinstalling helped to overcome this issue. Also, make sure that they run the setup in administrative mode.  Â-

Ansys EmployeeAlex I will check with the team and let you know. Meanwhile, you mentioned that this error occurs when trying to import CATIA files or create new geometry. Does it occur even while importing any other file format like stp, parasolid, etc.?
