SubscriberI'm trying to mesh a large Air volume with small openings but I get a mesh failed
output message In "messages" tabÂ
"Mesh requires attention.
1. MultiZone blocking decomposition failed."Â
What could cause this this issue ? and how I can solve it ?Â

Forum ModeratorHello Ghassan. AbuSultanah
Based on the blocking approach, the meshing function automatically tries to decompose the geometry into blocks and attempts to generate a hex mesh.
It could help if you could split the geometry(volume) in a way such that blocks are created.
Please ensure that the opposite faces of these blocks are mappable to ensure smooth hex mesh. -

Forum ModeratorHello Ghassan. AbuSultanah
I just created a solid based on the image shared by you. I would be able to help you better with the mesh settings if you could share your model with me.Â
If your model is proprietary I can share the ANSYS Secure Transfer link to share the model.
