Error: A correctly-formatted VENDOR line was not found in the license file.

      I followed the instructions in your notepad file for your AnsRegSvr software to create a license file and now I am receiving this error. Step 7 indicates I should be reaching out to our sales rep, who isn't responding to my e-mails, and I cannot find any other resources online to get this resolved. I would very much appreciate assistance. I can be reached via e-mail at arogers@avedro.com or by phone at 781-768-3469.

       

      FYI - this Ansys account was created using one of our end users' e-mail address and not one of our IT support e-mails, hence the mismatch in the e-mail tied to our account and the one I left in this post.

      Is there any update on this? I cannot get an e-mail response, or a response here, and the software is completely unusable in it's current state.

      Can I get an update on this please? Is there somewhere else I should be posting? Is there an e-mail I can reach out to for support? A phone number?

        Apologies for the delay.  I'm consulting with one of our licensing experts and will get back to you with an answer as soon as possible.  

        Did you post an image or copy of the error message?  I don't see one in the original post.

        You cannot use that file as a license. Send the results of running the utility to your Account Manager, and ANSYS will create a license matching the host information for the server.
