DiscoveryLive shuts down after signing in.

      Hello.

      I have a problem opening DiscveryLive or SpaceClaim.

      The programs just shuts down without any message after I type in my email address and password.

      This happens with my desktop computer on which I used to use the programs, but it doesn't happen with my laptop which I have been using rately for convenience.

      I have a subscription license and I don't remember there is a ristriction on how many machines I can run the programs on.

      Please let me know if this is a licensing issue.

      If it's not a licensing issue, can you tell me what the potential issue might be.

      Hello Kohei This is a known issue with 2020R2 version and the solution to overcome this problem is mentioned in the below article Discovery - Unable to start SpaceClaim or Discovery after login Please let me know if you still face any issues with launching the application.

      Thank you for your help.

      However, I cannot find the option, [-ActivateLicenseEntitlement ].

      Similar option that I can find is [-SetActivationUser ], but I guess it assigns a user to a license. (Also I don't know what the Discovery account name is exatly.)

      Is there any way that the solution mention in the article is not complete or up to date?

      I was able to try to manually activate the license on the device, but I got the following result on the command prompt.

      Could you tell what the issue might be?

      Hello Naresh Patre

      I was able to active the license on the device.

      It turned out that I activated the account on another device which I dont recall, and I just had to release the account from the device.
