Hi Support,   In SpaceClaim an internal component cannot hold any more information other than that of material. If an internal component can hold material information why cannot it not hold other information such as a description?   The circle and the square below are internal. They can have individual material properties but that is it. Response given through mail:

If you right click in the Properties menu you can select Add Component Property. These will be unique to each component and will be automatically applied to each instance of the same component in an assembly.

If the customer plans to use this frequently, they should modify the model template used to create new designs and add the property there. At that point, each time they click File > New > Design the newly created component will carry the custom property.

These can be called out in a BOM table just like any other property.
