SubscriberHi dear,
I want to know the relationship between "VRAM used for ANSYS Discovery" and "minimum feature size at max fidelity".
I understand that the relationship also changes depending on the model size. For cubes of 5 mm per side, when analyzed with NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1080Ti, 6.1 GB out of all 11 GB was used, and "minimum feature size at max fidelity" was 0.03 mm.
I want to know the results with other VRAM, but unfortunately I don't have a PC with other VRAM.
Is there any useful information?

Forum ModeratorHello Akihisa Yokoyama We do not have any comparative study with different graphics cards to the best of my knowledge. Although, I can check with my development team for inputs that may be helpful to you. Like you have correctly mentioned, the fidelity Discovery can achieve depends on the model as well but a better graphics is always good. Also, Discovery does not use up the complete available vRAM during simulation. It reserves some memory to prevent a crash and allow other PC operations or any other changes you may make during the simulation. In the meantime, you can go through the forum for information from other customer. Please use the search bar to search for topics that may interest you.
