SubscriberG'day,
in dynamic mesh zones panel, we can get the moving object's angular velocity and angular displacement (angle), but I also need the data of its angular acceleration. Does anyone know how to get that?
Hope someone can tell me. Thank you.

Forum ModeratorI suspect you'll need previous time step velocity data and then work it out based on the time step size.

Subscriberit sounds like I need to import the six DOF file into matlab or Excel, and do some commands to get angular acceleration, right?

Forum ModeratorI suspect so. The surface forces and velocity are available, acceleration is a little more complex as it's the change in velocity. If you're using a UDF check for previous time step values, but note not all data is available.
