Meshing Type advice

Currently working on a 2-storey framed RC structure, and I would like to ask for advices on how to mesh this type of structure (shown on the image). I tried meshing it with Multizone but I always get the "multizone blocking decomposition failed" error. Will appreciate any kind of help. I designed my structure at SpaceClaim

      Hi

All of these simple 3D square columns/beams are sweepable and ansys can mesh them with a structured mesh (hex) - no need for any multi-zone just mesh, but in order to do that (generate a good structured mesh) do not use shared topology, and just use contacts between the concrete parts. the reinforcement is modeled with line bodies - below is the workflow for concrete modelling:

Also see our getting staretd course and meshing courses here to learn more about ansys mechanical and how to use it.

      All the best

      Erik

Thank you for the response, will try to work on it again.
