SubscriberHello, teacher,Recently,I met a problem . i want to use Fluent UDF to achieve this things. the box has heater tubes, and there are three fans to control the temperature of the whole box, when the box temperature is higher than 400[K],the fan is working.and the temperature is low to 350[K], the fans stop working . so i want to control the operating angular velocity of 3D Fan zone ,but i cant find the UDF macro to use at 3D Fan zone operating angular velocity. the question is which UDF can used here .  if there are not suitable UDF macro ,how can I solve the problem when I use 3D fan ,because of the MRF model or other model can easily improve the computation effort. Thanks for your reply sincerely.

Forum ModeratorI suspect it'll be DEFINE_PROFILE. Another option is to look at velocity inlets, and control the velocity and it's components using DEFINE_PROFILE.Â

SubscriberThe DEFINE_PROFILE Macro will be not show at the window ,because i try to load it but failed ,how can i control the on_off of the 3D fan ,i suspect the operating angular velocity is the basic characteric of fan,i input the Pressure - Q curve of fans .Â
