      Hello,

Please, I have a question, how is calucalate the turbulence kinetic energy in 2D case?

      Hi,

Turbulence kinetic energy is the average kinetic energy per unit mass linked to eddies in turbulent flow. The measured root-mean-square (RMS) velocity fluctuations define the turbulence kinetic energy.

Turbulence kinetic energy is defined to be half the sum of the variances of the velocity components. The velocity component is the difference between the instantaneous and the average velocity.

      Thank you

      Saurabh
