Fluent Data File Size

      Current data file size with default quantities in fluent is almost 7 GB. How to reduce the size of the data file? Also, how to remove certain default data quantities from the data file?

      You can save .cdat files for use in CFD Post but those can't be read back into Fluent. The .dat format contains everything Fluent needs to restart (and post process) a solution. Are you writing .dat ,  .dat.gz or .dat.h5?
