SubscriberCan a wall boundary be created on the cells where the particle is present when a DPM particle is captured on the walls of the constructed geometry?
Details:
I have a cylinder on which a dpm particle (particles) is (are) captured. When these particles are captured I would like to create a wall boundary for the cells that are occupied by the particles. and then apply potential function boundary conditions on the newly created wall. is it possible to do so in ansys fluent with UDF or any other feature? can anyone please let me know

Ansys EmployeeHi,
So, you have a cylindrical zone and you are trapping the DPM particles on it. When a DPM particle gets trapped, you would want that "cell boundary" to get modified into a wall. I don't think it can be done, but you can take a look at the Fluent DPM UDF manual for more clarity/a workaround.
You can also take a look at Lagrangian wall film model and check if it can be used for your application.
