SubscriberFor steady state thermal analysis, I am trying to import PCB tracks using grid cut method provided by ansys mechanical. I tried to override the PCB vias properties using worksheet and changed it from solid via to hollow via.
Doing that the copper fraction for each layer should be changed (as reported in "Imported Data Transfer Summary"). But contrary to that, the fraction remains exactly same. In other words, hollow vias are not impacting the copper fraction at all.
