SubscriberGreetings,
How do I add heat profile on the object. For instance, 100 degrees in the middle part 50 degrees in the sides of the rectangular object?

Ansys EmployeeHello,
Assuming you are using Classic Icepak, you can create a spatial power profile on Source objects by choosing the Surface/Volume Flux in the Thermal Condition in object properties. There you should see a Profile option to add the X, Y, Z co-ordinate lengths and the power values. Same can be done on 3D blocks by going to Basic Parameter settings, and using the Spatial Profile option there. If you want to specify Temperature, then using a wall object with temperatuer profile is the solution. Please search these options in the user guide for more details. Hope this helps.Â
